Feb. 17--GLENDORA -- The City Council intends to pull out the big guns to counteract an out-of-state developer that wants to swap hillside land with a private golf course to the south.
Texas-based NJD Ltd., rebuffed in its bid to build 100 hillside homes, is gathering signatures for a November ballot initiative that would guarantee the company's land swap with Glendora Country Club isn't derailed.
NJD owns 400 hillside acres, half in Glendora and half in San Dimas, commonly referred to as Canyon Oaks. The company has the approval of Glendora Country Club members to swap their land for a new course in the foothills. NJD ...
