HOFFMAN ESTATES, Ill., Oct. 6 /PRNewswire/ -- Arthur C. Martinez, chairman and chief executive officer of Sears Merchandise Group, today announced the appointment of Anthony J. Rucci, 43, as executive vice president, administration.
Rucci will be nominated for election to this position at the next regular meeting of the Sears, Roebuck and Co. (NYSE: S) board of directors.
Martinez said Rucci will be responsible initially for the human resources and quality organizations. Warren F. Cooper, vice president, human resources, and Richard T. Quinn, vice president, quality, will report to Rucci.
