I'm not sure I want to say, "Welcome to the new National Fisherman," because it seems trite, but there's much that's new about us this month.
Most noticeable, perhaps, is the magazine's size, 10 inches by 12 1/2 instead of 11 by 14. This is consistent with many modern magazines, but more importantly, it is a size that should enhance our newsstand presence. In the competitive world of newsstand sales, very little space is allocated to monthly tabloids. Also, we have changed to a whiter, brighter paper, and we'll take advantage of that with more color photos and graphics.
