Feb 19, 2006 (The West Australian - ABIX via COMTEX) -- Operators of caravan parks in WesternAustralia (WA) have been given a lifeline

through a change in taxation. WA Planning & Infrastructure Minister Alannah MacTiernanargues the 30% reduction in land tax, via arezoning from "tourism" to "special" use, is

designed to stem a trend of parks beingforced to close and sell to developers afterhaving to pass on high land taxes to
