Feb. 20--DAYTONA BEACH -- The man they call Wild Bill Owen sat at the bar, looking through photo albums of his hero. "There's the man."
"And there he is." "There he is again." He got his photo taken shaking hands with Dale Earnhardt in 1979, when Wild Bill's beard was brown. It's now gray and yellowed around his mouth. He won't say how old he is. "Mas viejo que tierra," he says. "Older than dirt."
