HE was 95 years old when he died on February 6, 1964, at the Veterans Memorial Hospital. Fate thus favored President Emilio F. Aguinaldo for he witnessed the nation he helped erect grow to maturity.

Historians have given him various illustrious titles. He was the "Caesar of the Philippines" and the "Liberator" of the Filipino People in the revolution against Spain and in the Filipino-American War that followed.
