Jimmy Clark is a middle school student who seldom participates during physical education class. Although he "dresses out" for every class, he puts forth little or no effort in the various activities--even those he likes. Although he is not a behavior problem in class, his teacher is still perplexed by his behavior. To add to the frustration, this teacher learns from colleagues that Jimmy's behavior is the same in their classrooms.
