Feb. 21--VALLEY CENTER ---- The first supermarket to open in Valley Center may be Major Market, a North County business with stores in Escondido and Fallbrook.
The Valley Center store is planned for Valley Center Road close to Mirar de Valle Road, across from Konyn Dairy.
The owners of the upscale Major Market have committed to opening a 30,000-square-foot grocery outlet as part of an 80,000-square-foot proposed shopping center, said Steve Flynn, president of Bell Enterprises, the company that owns the property, on Monday.
