Polish oil giant PKN Orlen withdraws from contracts with Czech Agrofert on sale of Unipetrol units
PRAGUE. FEBRUARY 21. INTERFAX CENTRAL EUROPE - Poland's top oil firm PKN Orlen has officially pulled out of contracts it had concluded with Czech food and chemical company Agrofert in connection with the privatization of Czech petrochemical group Unipetrol, under which PKN Orlen should have sold a number of Unipetrol units to Agrofert, PKN Orlen announced in a Tuesday statement.
