OMAHA, Neb. -- AMCON Distributing Company (AMEX:DIT), an Omaha, Nebraska based consumer products company, announced today that it was not able to timely file its Quarterly Report on Form 10-Q for the first quarter ended December 31, 2005. On January 16, 2006, the Company issued a press release announcing that it was unable to file its Annual Report on Form 10-K for the fiscal year ended September 30, 2005 due to uncertainties surrounding two of the Company's subsidiaries.
