BEIJING, China, Oct. 8 /PRNewswire/ -- Northern Telecom today announced the establishment of a new business unit, Nortel China, to be headquartered in Beijing.
The new corporate business unit will address the fast growing telecommunications markets in Greater China including the People's Republic of China, Hong Kong and Taiwan. It signals a strengthening of Northern Telecom's commitment to China.
