Article: Requiem for Sarajevo: Bosnia. (United Nations administration of Sarajevo, Bosnia-Herzegovina)

ON AUGUST 18th, at the Geneva peace conference, the leaders of Bosnia's warring groups agreed to put Sarajevo under United Nations administration for two years, while tempers cool and Bosnia & Hercegovina is carved up. During this period, the besieged capital is supposed to be demilitarized. The hope is that this will save the city from starvation. In reality, it is likely to be the end of Sarajevo.
