The goal of Communications News has always been about providing useful information to its audience of IT decision makers. Now, the magazine's new editorial awards program is honoring those companies responsible for providing the very best editorial contributions for the past year.

The 2004 Editors' Choice Awards recognize the outstanding editorial contributions of 23 companies, with 10 first place awards and 14 honorable mentions. One company, Cisco Systems, took home two awards, winning the top award for the "Conferencing" category, and taking honorable mention in the "Cover Story" competition.
