Feb. 23--Kamy Bains heard a voice from her past last month, a voice she'd so often heard teaching, correcting, motivating. But this time Thea Bordsen-Post wasn't calling with words of advice or instructions to study, instead she was calling with news of an honor for Bains' accomplishments on the Yuba College volleyball court. Bains, who dominated the net as a middle blocker on the 1987 and '88 Yuba volleyball teams, is one of 11 individuals who will be inducted into the Yuba College Athletic Hall of Fame this year.
