Feb. 23--ESCONDIDO -- Palomar Pomerado Health and the owner of a business park in western Escondido have reached a tentative agreement on a long-awaited deal to build medical offices next to a hospital scheduled to open in the park by the end of the decade.

The proposed development deal made public Wednesday is between the public hospital district and JRMC Real Estate, which owns the business park called the Escondido Research and Technology Center. The agreement calls for the district and JRMC to jointly build and own up to 300,000 square feet of medical offices over the next 20 years.
