Discover Financial Services LLC, of Riverwoods, IL, will work with Credomatic International Corp. to sign up merchant locations in Central America to accept Discover cards. Credomatic, a unit of BAC International Bank Inc., is targeting merchants in tourist destinations initially, but expects to reach out more broadly later on. Discover says Credomatic works with more than 65,000 merchant locations in Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua and Panama.
