Russia and Ukraine-historically-have had what might be called a "stormy" relationship. The recent gas crisis, which dominated the economic news coming out of Ukraine has now been settled. The result is that Ukraine will be paying approximately twice as much for natural gas from Russia. The pricing is closer to world market benchmarks.
