Drew Barrymore and Hugh Grant will star in "Music and Lyrics By," a romantic comedy scripted and directed by Marc Lawrence for Castle Rock.
Warner Bros. and Village Roadshow Pictures are financing, and production begins March 27 in New York.
Story involves a lyrics writer and a music writer-performer whose collaboration takes a romantic turn.
WB exec veep Courtenay Valenti is shepherding.
"Music and Lyrics By," which will be exec produced by Barrymore's Flower Films partner Nancy Juvonen and Village Roadshow topper Bruce Berman, is one of five imminent production starts for Castle Rock.
