ROCK star Sheryl Crow has undergone emergency surgery for breast cancer.
The shock news comes just three weeks after she split from Tour de France cycling champion Lance Armstrong, who won his own battle against cancer.
Yesterday she, too, vowed to beat the disease, saying: 'More than ten million Americans are living with cancer and they demonstrate the ever-increasing possibility of living beyond cancer.'
The 44-year-old Grammy winner had her operation last Wednesday.
It was described as 'minimally invasive' and she will have radiation treatment 'as a precaution'. Crow's publicist Dave Tomberlin said: ...
