Feb. 27--LATIN INVESTMENTS FINALLY LOOKING UP: After years in the doldrums, the outlook is buoyant for investors who buy stakes in Latin America companies not listed on stock markets.

A new survey of private equity investors in Latin America found the most optimism in five years, with more than half of respondents forecasting investments in the region to grow by 25 percent or more in 2006.

Responses came from 101 attendees at an annual private equity conference in Miami earlier this month.
