Feb. 27--With his hands folded behind his back, Angelo Patti gazed up at the black-and-white photographs on display in the entryway to his restaurant.
"Yep," Patti said, diverting concentration to other pictures hanging on the opposite wall above the fireplace. "A lot of history here, no doubt about that."
What is it about Patti's Restaurant, 241 S. Santa Fe Ave., that keeps patrons coming back after 70 years? Why is it so alluring to congressmen, a future U.S. Supreme Court justice, big-name entertainers, city and county officials and even a famous serial killer?
