Feb. 28--Gov. Bill Richardson should keep the legislative agenda of a potential special session narrowly focused on a handful of items, House Speaker Ben Lujan told business leaders Monday.
Lujan, a Nambe Democrat, said such items include bills that failed to clear the Legislature during the 30-day session that ended Feb. 16, including a tax-relief package, a measure to finance road-construction projects and legislation to create a Renewable Energy Transmission Authority.
