We last spoke with New Orleans refugee and Delta blues musician Jeremy Lyons in September, shortly after he had relocated to Cambridge after escaping Hurricane Katrina. Since then, Lyons has been attempting to get his life in order while working his way into the local music scene.
As today is Fat Tuesday, the highlight of New Orleans' Mardi Gras celebration, we thought it would be a good time to catch up with the standout guitarist, who plays a New Orleans benefit Thursday at the Nave Gallery in Somerville.
