Mar. 1--Plans to build condominiums along 8 Mile moved a step closer to being realized Monday as the Southfield City Council voted unanimously -- with two of the seven council members absent -- to approve the development.
The project calls for 182 brownstone and carriage house-style condos to be built on the stretch between Rutland and Northland Drive.
