AS a partnership at Clyde, Alan Kernaghan and Billy Reid were so successful they came within one game of reaching the Scottish Premier League.
This evening, one of them could find himself just one game away from a Hampden final.
Instead of standing side-by-side, the two men find themselves in each other's way when Reid's Hamilton face Kernaghan' s Dundee in the Tennent's Scottish Cup quarterfinals.
