RALEIGH, N.C., March 2 /PRNewswire/ -- Nearly 2,700 prospective college students and their parents received help completing their Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) form on FAFSA Day, held across North Carolina on Saturday, February 18th. This is double the number of high school seniors and parents helped on FAFSA Day last year. The FAFSA is required for consideration for federal and state financial aid for college, including many scholarships, grants and loans.
