How do a room full of writers get published? They pool their talents and write a book together.
It took five years and some might say a lot of blood, sweat and tears, but the St. Charles Writers Group has written, edited and published a novel, "Don't Die, Mr. Opal: Oklahoma Needs You" (Infinity Publishing).
The novel contains an exhilarating array of scenarios, based around a plane crash, with much of the setting centered on Chicago's O'Hare International Airport during a snowy winter.
This group, led by moderator Rick Holinger, has been gathering at the St. Charles Public Library for 10 years. New and ...
