Mar. 2--Elon University's Ernie Nestor has crafted, directed and guided basketball teams on various levels every season since 1968-69. He earned a career milestone Wednesday, collecting the Southern Conference Coach of the Year award for men's basketball in separate voting conducted by the league's coaches and media association.
