With assistance from the Career and Technical Education (CTE) Support Fund Committee ACTE hosted a Networking and Fundraising Recept at the 2005 Annual Convention in Kansas City, Missouiri. Funds raised at the reception and the cash prize drawing held at the CTE Support Fund Table reached nearly $22,000. Approximately $12,000 will benefit CTE programs that were affected by Hurricanes Katrina and Rita and more than $10,000 will support the CTE Support Fund*. ACTE would like to thank the National Association of Agricultural Educators (NAAE), who generously donated $5,000 for ACTE's Hurricane Relief Efforts.
