This is the story that broke Monday. It hasn't been changed since then.
Red Hat filed suit against the SCO Group Monday morning asking the district court in Delaware for a declaratory judgment that Red Hat has not infringed any SCO copyrights or misappropriated any SCO trade secrets and that Linux is public and perforce cannot even constitute a trade secret.
Red Hat also wants SCO permanently enjoined from publicly saying Linux is an unauthorized derivative of SCO's SVR5 code or from claiming it has the right to collect license fees of Linux users unless of course SCO can prove its allegations that Linux contains hundreds of lines of SCO's Unix code.
