PALO ALTO, Calif. -- Connetics Corporation (Nasdaq:CNCT), a specialty pharmaceutical company that develops and commercializes dermatology products, today announced that results of a Phase IV clinical study evaluating the long-term efficacy of a lower dosage of Soriatane(R) (acitretin) show that low-dose regimens of Soriatane over a six-month period are effective and well-tolerated in the treatment of adults with moderate-to-severe plaque-type psoriasis.
