New York State-based Par Pharmaceutical says that it has entered into a collaborative agreement with fellow US firm Spectrum Pharmaceuticals to develop and market generic drugs, including copy versions of injectable and ophthalmic medicines. Spectrum, located in Irvine, California, is a specialty pharmaceutical company that develops both proprietary and generic drugs.
