This year's show attracted 7,400
NEW YORK -- The 15th annual Yarn Fair International/CAD Expo here, held for the first time at the New York Sheraton Hotel & Towers, drew a record crowd.
According to the National Knitwear & Sportwear Association, its sponsor, the show attracted about 7,400.
Last year's event, held at the Ramada hotel, drew 6,800 by comparison.
Yarns of acrylic microfiber, rayon, spandex, cottons and acrylic and wool blends were among the attention-getters at this year's event.
