NEW YORK -- Donna Karan and Calvin Klein have each developed exclusive catalogs for both Neiman Marcus and Bergdorf Goodman. Each is being sent to some 500,000 customers; mailings started last week and will continue through the end of the month.
The Donna Karan catalog, photographed by Peter Arnell, features Essentials, the pieces designated by the designer as "must-haves," including sportswear, intimate apparel, fragrance, accessories, shoes, hosiery and sunglasses.
This is the first Essentials catalog Karan has done. Last year, she did an exclusive holiday catalog of her merchandise for NM and Bergdorf's, which she plans to repeat this year.
