ALTHOUGH she grew up in a tenement, Morag Ross shares more than a birthday with the Queen.
She said: "My parents were called George and Elizabeth - the same as the Queen's.
"I had my first child, Morag, in 1948 and my second, Jean, in 1950 - the same years as Prince Charles and Princess Anne were born.
"My son Duncan was born five days after the coronation in 1953. The doctor suggested that I call him Philip Mountbatten after the Queen's husband but Duncan was a family name for us.
"That's where the similarities ...
