RICHMOND - Gov.-elect Timothy M. Kaine on Wednesday promised to be back in the saddle next week traveling around and talking to Virginians about the state's road and transit needs.
Kaine, who set a grueling pace in his campaign to win the governor's mansion, said he will hold town hall meetings across the state seeking public comment about how best to tackle rising traffic congestion. He said he will use ideas from the meetings to create a transportation plan he will pursue during the legislative session that begins in January.
