To some, the name may sound odd, almost funny. But to the millions of Americans who suffer from Restless Legs Syndrome, it is certainly no joke.
To them, the condition carries a double curse: First is the difficulty of trying to sleep, sit, work or ride in a car while their legs refuse to remain still, and second is the frustration of coping with a condition that friends, relatives and co-workers may not take seriously.
