Detroit Free Press to Supply CompuServe with Business News. (Originated from Detroit Free Press)

DETROIT--Nov. 12--The Detroit Free Press is joining the CompuServe Information Service to provide on-line news and information about Michigan and the auto industry to computer users worldwide. The service will begin around the first of the year.

The Free Press will join several other newspapers, including the Chicago Tribune and the San Jose Mercury-News, linking up with commercial on-line services such as CompuServe, America Online and Prodigy.
