Loss of the Weight Watchers franchise was a major factor in red ink run up by dessert maker CoolBrands International for the fourth quarter of 2005. But there were other factors too. The Canadian firm lost $64.1 million, or $1.15 a share, for the quarter and $74.1 million, or $1.32 a share, compared with a year-earlier profit of $23.5 million, or 42 cents a share.
