Major League Baseball's steroids scandal is filtering down the athletic chain to high schools in a growing effort -- including in Wisconsin -- to eradicate the use of performance-enhancing drugs by teenagers.
At least one state, New Jersey, and some communities around the nation have instituted mandatory random testing of prep athletes for steroid use. Other states, including Wisconsin, are considering new rules that would address the use of performance-enhancing drugs.
