THE man in charge of transforming St Pancras station has vowed to put passenger safety at the heart of his plans.
Mike Luddy aims to make it Britain's safest station - and has backed the Standard's campaign to improve late-night security at the capital's other stations. About [pounds sterling]400 million is being spent turning the Victorian venue into St Pancras International as part of the [pounds sterling]5.2billion Channel Tunnel rail link.
