BORED taxi passengers in Birmingham will soon be able to watch telly in the back of cabs after council bosses gave high-tech plans the go-ahead.
Birmingham taxis will be the first in England to have Cabtivate, a system which streams pictures to TVs in the back of black cabs using satellite technology.
Fifteen-inch flat screens behind the drivers' head will screen news, films, music videos, weather reports and advertising.
