RICHMOND, Va. -- Harris Williams & Co. is pleased to announce the sale of AAMCO Transmissions, Inc. ("AAMCO" or the "Company") to American Capital Strategies ("American Capital"). The transaction closed on March 7, 2006 and was executed by Harris Williams & Co.'s Transportation & Logistics Group. Harris Williams & Co. acted as the exclusive advisor to AAMCO.
