Concerns that Christ Hospital would be asked to close in Mount Auburn and move to suburban West Chester played into the hospital's decision in January to break with the Health Alliance of Greater Cincincinnati, Christ officials said.
Meeting with The Cincinnati Post's editorial board Wednesday, a delegation of Christ's board and its medical staff portrayed the decision to leave the 11-year-old Alliance as irreversible, and they laid out a combination of factors that led to the exit.
