Scoring ace Jaroslav Cesky returned to the lineup after all, Jim Dahl was named Central Hockey League Player of the Month for February and the Oilers outshot Oklahoma City while staying out of the penalty box when it counted. The bad news was that none of it made any difference as the Blazers triumphed 7-1 in Convention Center Arena, winning the Turnpike Series 6-5.
