Mar. 6--No doubt there are a few red-face people in the Jim Petro camp today.
When the polls show you're trailing in the Republican Primary for governor, the last thing you want to do is offend a group of would-be voters. The Petro clan managed to do that in a big way with Lima voters last week.
It all started with an innocent e-mail request, which was followed by an answer that wasn't meant to be seen by anyone in Lima.
