Mar. 5--A well-known fishing supply store in Mount Pleasant is testing new waters, casting a line into West Ashley amid a flurry of activity in the local bait-and-tackle business.
Haddrell's Point Tackle & Supply was set to open its second location Saturday at 47 S. Windermere Blvd. in the South Windermere Shopping Center.
Local anglers know the spot well. Over the years, it has been home to various bait-and-tackle shops, including John's Rod & Reel and, most recently, Barton and Burwell Fishing & Hunting.
