Article: Fitch: Defeasance Flurry Helps Spur Rating Watch Positive For 319 U.S. CMBS Classes.

NEW YORK -- Fitch Ratings places the following 319 classes on Rating Watch Positive (affecting 75 transactions). The classes are being placed on Rating Watch Positive primarily due to a flurry of defeasance activity in fourth-quarter 2005 that was reported in the January and February remittance reports. In addition, many of the deals have experienced paydowns since last review. Finally, the transactions generally have also shown improved performance with decreased delinquency and Fitch Loans of concern since Fitch's last rating action.
