IMF to revise Ukraine forecast due to higher gas prices
KYIV. March 9 (Interfax) - The International Monetary Fund (IMF) will revise its preliminary forecast on Ukraine's macroeconomic parameters, based on the possible impact of higher gas prices, and offer several mid-term forecasts, said the Ukrainian embassy in the United States.
"Ukrainian Economy Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk and representatives of the Ukrainian National Bank have had a series of meetings with IMF European department head Michael Deppler and the IMF mission to discuss the possible impact of higher gas prices on macroeconomic parameters in Ukraine," the embassy said. ...
