Work is set to start on a [pounds sterling]4.8 million refurbishment scheme which will dramatically transform two high-rise blocks of flats in West Bromwich. The project involves major internal and external improvement work to St Clements House and Wimberger House in Hallam Street, West Bromwich. Sandwell Homes has chosen to partner with Sandwell Metropolitan Borough Council's Urban Design team and West Midlands-based housing refurbishment specialist Lovell, to carry out the 18-month modernisation project at the two high-rise blocks, which comprise of a total of 72 flats.
